And now for something Completely Different!
1WO (Ret’d) Eddy Chew SAF, who is part of our little Facebook crowd here, is a stalwart member of the Singapore Armed Forces’ Veterans’ League. Some of you may well recognise him from November Commemorations at Kranji.
He has invited Sandbag to join himself and a few of his ‘kakis’ (Singlish for ‘buddies’ for those new in town) for an evening at The Chevrons, which is the SAF’s WOSpec Club.
Not being open to the public, this is a rare opportunity for we Sandbaggers. Places are limited however – 24max – so IN ADDITION to marking yourself as ‘Going’ here, please also WA Alex on 96713914 so that we can track attendees on a first come, first served basis… and if you subsequently have to bail out, update yourself accordingly so that we can maximise the places.
It’s out of town (Boon Lay Way), but you’re all big boys and girls so I’m sure you can find your way there.
